Complete UI Guide — Member Dashboard

This is your comprehensive guide to every page and feature in your WineView member dashboard. Use it as a reference whenever you need to find something.

Logging In

Visit the WineView site and click Log In in the top navigation bar.
Enter your email and password.
Click Log In to access your member dashboard.
If you forgot your password, click Forgot password? to receive a reset email.

After logging in, you land on the My Clubs page.

The sidebar is always visible on the left side of the screen. It has a collapse toggle (a small circular button on its right edge) to shrink it to icons only.

At the top of the sidebar, your profile shows:

Your initials in a wine-colored square avatar
Your name and email (hidden when collapsed)

Main navigation items (top section):

My Clubs — View and manage all your wine club memberships
My Orders — View your order history and track shipments
Rewards (Star icon) — Your points balance and rewards. Appears only at businesses that have enabled their loyalty program.
Check-in QR — Show your QR code for in-person tasting room check-ins

Account section (below a divider, with "ACCOUNT" label):

Profile — Edit your name, email, phone, birthday, and password
Addresses — Manage your saved shipping addresses
Payments — Manage payment methods and view billing per business

Bottom section (below a divider):

Help Center (BookOpen icon) — Opens the WineView help center for members
Business Dashboard — If you own or operate a business on WineView (links to the business management area)
Create a Business — If you don't have a business yet (links to the registration flow)
Log Out — Signs you out and returns you to the login page

When the sidebar is collapsed, each item shows only its icon with a tooltip on hover.

My Clubs Page

Path: Click My Clubs in the sidebar

This page shows all your wine club memberships.

Tabs

Two tabs at the top:

Active ([count]) — Shows your active (including trialing) and paused memberships
Cancelled ([count]) — Shows cancelled memberships

If a recent charge failed, your membership stays active (it may be temporarily auto-paused), and a red banner appears at the top so you can settle the bill yourself. The heading reads "Payment failed" when there's a single bill, or "[N] outstanding balances ($X total)" when there are several. The body explains: "Update your payment method and retry the failed charge to restore membership benefits."

From the banner you can:

For a single bill: click Retry $X to open the retry modal.
For multiple bills: click a per-club chip (showing the club name and amount), use Retry all ($X) to settle several bills for one business at once, or click View all payments to jump to the Billing page.

Clicking a retry option opens the Retry Payment modal, which shows a charge preview (the amount you'll be charged) before you confirm payment with your card on file. There is no "Suspended" or "Past Due" membership status — the failed charge is simply an outstanding balance you can pay off.

Membership Cards

Each membership is displayed as a card with:

The club's cover image
A status badge in the top-right corner — one of Active, Paused, Cancelled, Incomplete, or Staged. A separate Past Due marker may appear alongside the status when you have an outstanding balance.
Club name
Tier name (if applicable)
Price or "Release Club" label
"Member since [date]"

Click any card to go to the Membership Detail page. See Managing Your Membership for full details.

Empty State

If you have no memberships: "No memberships yet — You haven't joined any clubs yet. Start exploring to find your perfect match!" with a Browse Clubs button.

My Orders Page

Path: Click My Orders in the sidebar

Check-in QR Page

Path: Click Check-in QR in the sidebar

This page has a dark gradient background and shows your QR codes for tasting room check-ins:

Your name appears at the top
Subtitle: "Show at the register for check-in, rewards, and card-on-file payments."
One club QR card per active wine-club membership, showing:
- The club name
- A large scannable QR code
- Staff can scan it to pull up your membership, apply tier rewards, or charge your card on file
One loyalty QR card per business where you're enrolled in the Rewards Program but don't have an active wine-club membership. Each loyalty card shows:
- The business name
- Your current points balance
- A scannable QR code that staff can use to look up your rewards account, accrue points on your purchase, or redeem points for a perk

Why two kinds of cards? If you're both a club member and a rewards-program enrollee at the same business, the club QR covers both — staff can scan it for tier perks AND points. Loyalty-only cards appear only for businesses where you participate in their points program but don't carry an active membership.

What to Do

Open this page on your phone when you visit the tasting room.
Show the appropriate QR card (or whichever one staff asks for) to the staff at the register.
They'll scan it to check you in, look up your rewards/points, and process any purchases.

Profile Page

Path: Click Profile under Account in the sidebar

This page lets you view and edit your personal information:

Name — Click the pencil icon to edit. A modal opens where you can update your name. Click Save to confirm.
Email — Click the pencil icon to edit. A modal opens where you can change your email address. The change takes effect immediately and you'll use your new email to log in next time.
Phone — Click the pencil icon to edit. A modal opens for updating your phone number.
Birthday — Click the pencil icon to edit. Enter your date of birth.

Changing Your Password

At the bottom of the Profile page:

Click Change Password.
Enter your Current Password.
Enter your New Password and Confirm New Password.
Click Update Password.
A success message appears when your password is updated.

Addresses Page

Path: Click Addresses under Account in the sidebar

This page shows all your saved shipping addresses:

Each address is displayed as a card showing street, city, state, ZIP, and country.
One address may be marked as Default.
Click Edit (pencil icon) on any address to modify it.
Click Delete (trash icon) to remove an address.
Click Add Address to add a new shipping address using the address form.

These addresses are available when selecting a shipping address during checkout or when changing your membership's shipping address.

Billing Page

Path: Click Payments under Account in the sidebar (the sidebar label stays Payments)

The page header is titled "Billing" with the subtitle "Manage your payment methods and view your transaction history." It shows your payment methods and transaction history organized by business:

Each business you belong to is shown as a section.
Your card on file is displayed (e.g., "Visa ending in 4242").
You can Update your payment method by clicking the update button, which opens a Stripe-hosted card form.
A Recent Transactions card lists past charges with dates, amounts, and statuses.

If any charges failed, a red alert appears at the top telling you how many payments need attention. Each failed transaction shows a Retry button (it reads Pay Now when a retry is already in progress) so you can settle the outstanding balance from this page.

Ask Vino — Your AI Assistant

Ask Vino is your built-in AI chatbot, available on every page of the member dashboard. It can answer questions about your memberships, help you navigate the app, explain features, and more.

Opening Ask Vino

Click the Ask Vino button (wine glass icon) in the top-right area of the navigation bar to open the panel.

Using Ask Vino

When the panel opens, you'll see the heading "Ask Vino" with a wine glass icon.
If no conversation exists yet, you'll see: "Ask Vino anything — Get help managing your club or learn about WineView."
Type your question in the input box at the bottom. Placeholder text reads: "Ask a question about WineView or what to do on this page..."
Press Enter or click the send button. Vino will respond with helpful information based on your current page context.
A typing indicator ("...") appears while Vino is thinking.

Chat Features

New conversation: Click the + button in the panel header to start a fresh chat.
Conversation history: Click the back arrow in the panel header to see past conversations listed by their first message. Click any conversation to resume it.
Delete a conversation: Hover over a conversation in the history list and click the trash icon.
Refresh screenshot: Click the camera icon to update the screenshot Vino uses for page context.
Move panel: Click the panel position icon to move the chat panel to the left or right side of the screen.
Close panel: Click the X button to close the panel.
